Generally speaking, the Internet is regarded as an insecure medium. Contrary to the telephone lines, for example, the transfer of data in the Internet can be more easily monitored, recorded or even altered by unauthorized third parties.

If Gelco GmbH& Co. KG introduces new products or services or alters its Internet procedures, or if the Internet and electronic-data-processing security technology is further developed, the "data-protection statement" must be updated. For this reason we reserve the right to amend or to extend the statement as required. Such changes made will be published here. The current wording dates from 15.07.2010.

If you have herein given explicit approval, Gelco GmbH & Co. KG will continue to collect and make use of your personal data, particularly your name (forename and surname), your address, your telephone number and your e-mail address for sending of non-committal information adapted to your requirements on news, further information on our products, especially offers, customer questionnaires and general information. Such sendings can make use of e-mail or of the classical postal system. If we make use of specialized services for the sending of newsletters, we will transfer the personal data required for this purpose to the service provider. The service provider will process your personal data solely at the order and under the instruction of Gelco GmbH & Co. KG. Compliance with these data-protection provisions and the necessary security measures are ensured. 
Before Gelco GmbH & Co. KG makes use of your personal data for the sending of newsletters, we will ask you for your explicit consent. You have the possibility to revoke your consent for the future at any time, without having to give your reasons. Such revocation is to be sent by e-mail to info@gelco.eu. In this case your data will, of course, no longer be used for this purpose.
